AI - Interactive Study Tool - Ethical Perspectives

This AI powered study tool was designed in collaboration with the Innovation Lab at West Coast University. This project started with my idea to improve student engagement in my online critical reasoning course, where students struggled to understand the differences between various ethical perspectives.

The goal was to create a branded, didactic experience where students would interact with a chatbot that had been trained on the course materials. The study tool offers the students 3 difference ethical scenarios and allows the student to ask questions to arrive at the correct answer.

Points are given at the end of the 3 scenarios based on the number of questions students asked, the number of hints requested and the accuracy of their eventual choice.

Draft Coach using Open AI

I developed and programed this tool to assist me with the task of providing quick, relevant and personalized feedback to students regarding their rough drafts of an analytical essay for one of my English classes.

Using prompt engineering strategies, I trained this GPT on the parameters of the assignments, and asked it to provide 3-4 strengths and 3-4 areas of improvement for students to consider as they revised their papers towards a final draft.
